SO FRUSTRATED.

17 02 2007

I am feeling so frustrated today! No, not because of schoolwork, not because I’m PMS-ing, not becase I’m hungry, IM JUST DAMN FRUSTRATED OK?

NOBODY would understand what I’m feeling right now. Shall I explain? Yes, I shall.

When I moved to Sydney back in 2004, I just finished Primary 6. Back then (well, till now) i was a huge nerd, with no proper friends and all. I didn’t really care about my social life or about having proper friends. I went to PGGMB Sg. Akar, and to be completely honest, I never really felt like i actually fit in that school. Everything was Malay-based, everyone was malay, everyone spoke malay, everyone except me that it.

I was bullied/teased for being a non-malay Muslim, I was bullied/teased for my funny name, I was bullied/teased for being chubbier than average, I was bullied/teased for not being able to speak malay properly, etc. Sure, I had some friends and all, but they only hung out with me probably because they knew my mum was a teacher at that school.

Then in Sydney, I made some pretty good friends and all, but still, I never felt like i fit in. Everyone wore tiny skirts, everyone had boyfriends, etc. You know, the western style. And who did i choose to hang out with? Once again, nerds. Yes, nerds!

So then, I moved back to Brunei. Sure, it was like starting all over again. Making new friends all over again…Then I went to St. Andrews. I loved it there. The people are great! I actually made proper friends. I was actually HAPPY.

When i left Brunei back in `04, i felt NOTHING. No regrets, nothing. I was looking foward to a fresh start in Sydney. But now, when I left Brunei last month, I actually felt remorse. I didn’t WANT to leave. But it wasn’t like I had any choice, was it?

And now, I’M MISSING EVERYONE SO MUCH. I’m homesick. :( I look at the comments on friendster and everyone seem to have little personal jokes between themselves and I can’t help but feel very left out. IT SUCKS BIG TIME. No one would understand how I feel, unless that person has moved schools, even countries, countless times before.

Toodles.

Happy Valentine’s Day

So yes…HAPPY V’DAY PEEPOLES!

Ahh, valentine’s, valentine’s…What a day it is!

There were so many people running around with roses (real and fake), carnations, cards, teddy bears, stuffed dogs, etc. today. And so many people who can’t keep their hands off each other: so not appropriate for my asian eyes AND mind.

All i got was a hug, from a GIRL, mind you. -.-” Honestly, I’ve been in this school for over two weeks and i have NEVER spoken to a guy.

Well, i have, but just to tell him off for laughing as i got hit by a shuttlecock in the head. And don’t think i can’t hear you laughing, I CAN. >:(

So yes, v’day is nothing too special for me. And don’t think i can’t hear you people out there saying “just coz she doesn’t have a valentine!”

I have honestly never had a proper valentine before, all through my four years of highschool, and maybe sometimes in primary school, my heart fills with hope everytime a guy walks towards me…but either he swerves (literally) the other way to a hotter looking girl, or is only walking towards me to borrow or ask for something. Then, of course, as predicted, i get let down.

But i have entirely given up on that concept now. I guess you can say that I’m now more mature, or you could also say that I have given up because of all the unpleasant experiences I’ve had.

And so, i don’t see whats very special about today anyway. Just because I’m in a new school, doesn’t necessarily mean I have a fresh start in my love life, ’cause I don’t. I’m still the big ‘ol nerd you guys knew back in Brunei and will always be. I’m not proud to say it, but i’m not going to deny it either.

Yes, yes, i know. What a negative entry for a luvvy-dubby day like this. I’m a bitch. >:D MUAHAHHA.

So you peepoles have a nice V’day, or rather a post-v’day. (see, we have v’day eve, so what would the day after v’day be called? Post-v’day? *shrugs*)

Toodly-oots peepoles!
**cheeeeeeeeeeeeers!
